It is the work of the committees along with the Board that keep the Chamber running. Consider joining a committee and get involved in the Chamber. It's a great opportunity to contribute to a great organization, get to know people on a deeper level and to show off your expertise, interpersonal skills and/or management style.
Focuses on planning and organizing events that highlight the diverse nature of the Chamber including the women events. Morning networking events featuring relevant speakers are held one Friday each month. All events are open to chamber members and guests.

Responsible for reporting out on the Chamber's finances monthly and ensuring that accounts are current.

Works with the Executive Director to establish relationships with corporations to ultimately become partners with the Chamber as either Corporate or Event sponsors. Maintains an ongoing relationship with each partner to ensure quality of service.
Establishes and implements appropriate marketing and public relations for the Chamber and its membership.
The NECC Marketing Committee is a dedicated team of individuals whose goal is to facilitate, and promote the chamber’s initiatives through our website, email marketing, social media and other means.

Organizes the annual Mayor’s event from venue selection to promotion to luncheon agenda. This annual event attracts a large crowd. It is a great opportunity to network with individuals in a variety of industries and hear from local civic leaders on the topics on the minds of Essex County residents and business owners.

Assists to guide the development and growth membership for the Chamber. Works with the Executive Director and Ambassadors to achieve recruitment and retention goals. Greets new members and encourages participation in Chamber activities.

Reviews & presents nonprofit opportunities in the community for the Chamber to partner with.

Develops, organizes, and hosts a variety of exciting Chamber programs such as seminars, and meetings. Supports program planning, budgeting, and implementation for events for the professional development and networking benefit of the membership.
